What is Tug of War?
Tug of War is a strength-based team sport where two teams of eight pull on opposite ends of a rope. The goal is to pull the opposing team 4 meters. The sport is governed by TWIF under the IOC, following all its rules and regulations. Tug of War is part of the World Games and there is great interest in bringing it back to the Olympic Games.
Club History
We are a newly founded team built on international competition experience. In 2023 and 2024, we began raising awareness of the sport in pilot events, until we decided to establish an official club. Athletes from Rakovník have been competing in this sport for several years — since 2022, they have represented the Czech Republic at international events such as European and World Championships.

Come try it out — no matter your weight, height, or experience. Tug of War is a sport for everyone!

Join Us!
We are looking for new members — men and women of all weight categories. Tug of War is a team sport where there is a place for everyone. All you need is the will to compete and we will teach you the rest.
